How does the AI roadmap generation work?
When you create a goal, Waypoint uses AI to generate a personalized step-by-step roadmap. Only your goal title, description, category, and timeline are sent to our AI provider. No personal identifiers or sensitive data are transmitted.
How do I create a new goal?
Tap the “+” button on the Goals screen or the “Create Goal” button on the Home screen. Enter your goal details and tap “Generate Roadmap” to get an AI-powered plan.
Can I edit my roadmap after it’s generated?
Yes. After the AI generates your roadmap, you can review and adjust the waypoints and tasks before saving. You can also modify tasks at any time from the Goal Detail screen.
How does the XP and leveling system work?
You earn XP by completing tasks and hitting milestones. As you accumulate XP, you level up through navigator ranks. Streaks are tracked when you complete tasks on consecutive days.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your goals and progress are stored locally on your device. When generating roadmaps, only the goal details you enter are sent to our AI service — no personal identifiers, account data, or device information is shared. See our Privacy Policy in the app under Profile for full details.
How do I restore my subscription?
Go to Profile and tap “Restore Purchases.” This will restore any active subscriptions linked to your Apple ID.
How do I delete my account or data?
You can delete all your data from within the app. Go to Profile and look for the data management options.

Information We Collect
Waypoint collects minimal data to provide you with the best experience. This includes your profile name, goals, waypoints, and progress data — all stored locally on your device. If you subscribe to Waypoint Pro, your purchase is processed by Apple and we do not have access to your payment information. How We Use Your Data
Your goal and progress data is used solely to power your personal roadmaps and track your achievements. When you use AI-generated roadmaps, your goal inputs are sent to our third-party AI provider (Rork AI Toolkit) to generate personalized waypoints. See the “AI-Generated Content & Third-Party AI Service” section below for full details. We do not sell, share, or rent your personal information to third parties.
Data Storage
All of your goals, waypoints, tasks, and profile information are stored locally on your device using on-device storage. We do not maintain server-side copies of your personal data. Deleting the app will permanently remove all locally stored data.
AI-Generated Content & Third-Party AI Service
Waypoint uses a third-party AI service — Rork AI Toolkit (hosted at toolkit.rork.com) — to generate personalized goal roadmaps.
What we send: When you tap “Generate Roadmap,” the app sends only the following user-provided inputs to the AI provider: • Goal title • Goal description • Goal category • Timeline
What we do NOT send: No personal identifiers, account information, device data, location, or any other sensitive information is transmitted to the AI provider.
Purpose: This data is used solely to generate a personalized roadmap of waypoints and tasks for your goal. It is not stored by the AI provider or used for any other purpose.
Content moderation is performed entirely on-device before any data is sent. After generation, you can review the full AI-generated roadmap before choosing to save it. Subscriptions
Waypoint Pro subscriptions are managed entirely through Apple’s App Store. We do not collect or store any payment information. Subscription status is verified through RevenueCat, a third-party service that communicates with Apple’s servers. Please refer to Apple’s privacy policy for information about how Apple handles your purchase data.
Analytics & Tracking
Waypoint does not use third-party analytics or advertising frameworks. We do not track your behavior across other apps or websites. We do not use cookies or similar tracking technologies.
Children’s Privacy
Waypoint is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us so we can promptly remove it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected within the app. Continued use of Waypoint after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
